2/18/2015

*Due to school closings because of inclement weather, the concert at Woodruff Arts Center has been rescheduled for May 1st.*

We're so excited to bring you this news.

Thanks to our department's receiving a grant (thanks to the diligence of Marsha Lane and Amber Weldon-Stephens) from
Kennedy Center - Very Special Arts, approximately five hundred secondary students in Fulton County Schools' special education classes will be attending an Atlanta Symphony concert free of charge on February 17th! The theme: The History of Struggle.

Later on in the spring, small groups of ASO musicians will be visiting students in the schools to continue this unique and precious learning opportunity. Stay tuned! Click the links above or the photo below for more information.
