 *Due to school closings because of inclement weather, the concert at Woodruff Arts Center has been rescheduled for May 1st.*
We're so excited to bring you this news. Thanks to our department's receiving a grant (thanks to the diligence of Marsha Lane and Amber Weldon-Stephens) from Kennedy Center - Very Special Arts, approximately five hundred secondary students in Fulton County Schools' special education classes will be attending an Atlanta Symphony concert free of charge on February 17th! The theme: The History of Struggle. Later on in the spring, small groups of ASO musicians will be visiting students in the schools to continue this unique and precious learning opportunity.
