 A comprehensive, well-researched feature article by Laura Raines was just published in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution about state licensure for music therapists in Georgia, which will be going into effect January 1st.
The article features our former department member Jamie George. She and FCS Music Therapy Department members Kirby Carruth and Rachel Coon-Arnott spent long hours planning, communicating with clients and parents/guardians, advocating, and lobbying on behalf of this initiative as part of the state task force.
